As a passionate and avid hunter and outdoorsman I understand the investment we, as conservationists, make each time we step outdoors to pursue our quarry. My travels have taken me near and far from North America to South Africa (near the Eastern Cape). There I spent three months studying the anatomy of game, collecting different game species and waterfowl and obtaining reference photos. I pursue big game during my annual trips out west. I have collected the majority of North American waterfowl species over the years.

A Generation of Outdoorsmen
Kevin Batson is the owner of Batson’s Taxidermy and is a dedicated, experienced taxidermist and hunter of both African and North American game. Kevin's love and appreciation for nature began at a very young age when his father introduced him to the outdoors. Observing wildlife interacting in their natural habitat always intrigued him to do his part as a conservationist! He is now passing down that same passion of the outdoors to the next generation watching his son carry on the tradition of learning to provide for their family with God's amazing creations!"
Kevin's experiences in the outdoors gave him the desire to become a taxidermist to preserve wildlife. Many of the custom mounts he creates depict the surrounding habitats of the species.
Kevin has had the privilege to hunt in the fields of Africa, as well as many US States including numerous successful hunts in the mountains of Montana seeking elk.
